A team of Council of Europe experts carried out an evaluation visit to Hungary to assess the country’s anti-doping programme, practices and policies. The aim of the visit, which took place from 10 to 12 October 2023, was to evaluate the implementation of the Anti-Doping Convention.
The team met with representatives of the public authorities responsible for sport, including representatives from the ministry of Defence (competent for sport), the Hungarian Anti-Doping Organisation (HUNADO), the Hungarian Olympic and Paralympic Committees, the Center for Sports Nutrition Sciences, sport federations and athletes, as well as law enforcement representatives, and other bodies active in the fight against doping.
