The 3rd Central and Eastern European Anti-Doping Conference was held in Santorini from 12 to 13 October 2026, bringing together representatives from 26 countries.
The event brought together the heads of National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs), the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Central European Anti-Doping Organization (CEADO) to discuss current issues and challenges in anti-doping. The discussions covered a range of topics, including the application of artificial intelligence in anti-doping activities, opportunities offered by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme and practical experience with the ADAMS and DCO Central systems.
A key highlight of the conference was the opening panel discussion on the implementation of the 2027 WADA Code, moderated by Dr. Gergely Balázs Szabó, Legal Director of HUNADO. The discussion focused on aligning international anti-doping standards with national procedures and addressing the practical aspects of implementing the Code.
